6. Jury Duty Information

Trial by Jury is the palladium of our civil rights. Jury service is an important civic duty that provides an exceptional opportunity to participate in America’s judicial process and to preserve our Republic, the highest form of government devised by man; the Jury, which is here supreme, is a Republic, a body of Judges chosen from among the people. You will have the opportunity to see your justice courts in action. We welcome you and hope that you will find the experience interesting and rewarding.

Gallatin County Justice Court's Jury Pool runs September 1 to August 31.

Justice Court Jury trials are normally only for one day. Rarely do they last two days.
