Code Compliance

To promote the health, safety and welfare of Gallatin County residents and the environment through timely, consistent and appropriate enforcement and administration of relevant Gallatin County codes and land use requirements.  

 

Compliance Department investigations are typically complaint driven. If you have concerns about a compliance-related issue but do not want to file a complaint, feel free to call 406-582-3775 or email megan.gibson@gallatin.mt.gov.  

 

To file a complaint, please complete the Gallatin County Citizen Complaint Form and submit it to the Compliance Department. Once the completed form is received, the Compliance Officer will initiate an investigation.

 

To request copies of a complaint or complaint file, please complete the Gallatin County Compliance Department Request for Information Form and submit it to the Compliance Department.
