What resources do we have for people in behavioral health crisis?

If a community member is in a behavioral health crisis, the first call for help is the Help Center. They can be reached 24/7 by calling the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or 406-586-3333. You will be connected to a trained crisis counselor. They also provide walk-in and telehealth services during business hours. The Help Center team is able to stabilize 75% of those who call over the phone. For the other 25% who are not able to be stabilized or in need of a higher level of care, their team connects them to other services. The Mobile Crisis Team, a program of Connections Health Solutions, is able to be dispatched through the Help Center for those that are in need of in-person assistance and intervention in their home, place of work, or where they are at during the time of crisis. This team is currently available 10 AM to 10 PM every day. The Bozeman Health Psychiatric Emergency Services area, located in the Deaconess Regional Medical Center Emergency Department, is also available 24/7 for those in need of emergency behavioral health services.

NOTE: If someone is in imminent danger or risk, please dial 911 immediately.
